I found a FULL PAGE advert, I thought to myself ‘this is it, I have won!’, I then saw the offer 4% per annum for investments over £100,000, 3.5% per annum for investments between £50,000 and £99,999 and 3% per annum for investments of £100 to £49,999

I had lost! It did not ruin my Sunday, however, I cannot believe that the best rate on offer requires a £100,000 investment AND barely beats INFLATION! Bear in mind this is an offshore fixed rate bond!

No wonder investors seem disheartened.
