When asked this question, I sometimes find it hard to comprehend how far we’ve come since I started my career in international property investments over ten years ago.
I started my career (as many did) selling second homes in Spain to clients from the UK and Ireland. During this time properties in Spain were a fraction of the prices in the United Kingdom. Therefore, it was easy for people to see the benefits of a second home in the sun and also the potential for capital growth from their investments. Many took advantage of the booming tourism industry and enjoyed solid rental yields.

As years passed, investments in various countries were heavily marketed and readily available. With this situation it became difficult for potential investors to decipher a “good investment” from a ‘not so good” investment. Unfortunately during boom times, while many clients were successful, others received poor advice, and lost thousands.
It then became apparent there was a need that investments I would offer to my clients were fully researched, and thorough due diligence had been carried out. I needed to ensure my clients would be protected. It was also vital a clear exit strategy was outlined to make certain my clients saw maximum returns and their investment income was realized.
Having been in the international property business since its infancy, often friends and clients alike would contact me seeking advice on their various investments around the globe. I then realized there was a need for a company that not only offered safe, secure, low risk investments with maximum returns, but also provided portfolio management. We simply recommend investments that will benefit our clients financially.
Only a small number of investments are brought forward each year. It is merely the best of the best that are offered. Many companies offer “anything and everything” I often ask myself in this case - How can every market be the “best”? This is simply not true.
